As for our hours of operation, we man the phones from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. central standard time Monday through Thursday. If the phone is not answered during those hours we are either assisting other customers or away from the phones. We do monitor email accounts and try to answer in a timely manner; mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Bottom line, we ship items that are in stock and paid for by 3 pm CST M-F the same day in most cases. We feel that is a good deal for our customers. We answer the phone calls we can, answer the emails in a timely manner and take care of business as best we can... for our customers. The rest of the day should and does belong to us, to our families, to all of the other things "life" brings along. Life is too short to spend all day long on business.
This may be contrary to the American way of life but we work to live, not live to work. We mean to make a living serving our customers the way it fits our business and our lives. We understand that not manning the phones for longer hours most likely loses us revenue, but that is our choice as the business owners. Our business entails much more than the phone support hours and in order to make it all come together and not take all of our time, we make choices that work for us. We are a small business that strives to put family before business. If we lose business so we can be together as a family and enjoy other things life has to offer... priceless!
